About Me

My name is Tracey and for the past 15 years I have been a driving instructor, specialising in teaching people on the Autistic Spectrum or with other Special Needs how to drive.

This came about as a result of Home Educating my children where I met many diverse young people who needed empathy and support in helping them achieve their educational goals

3 years ago I realised that I could not continue with this career indefinitely because it was making me ill.  The combination of being in the car 6 hours a day was causing severe back and leg pain and the stress of other drivers, road conditions and the DVSA meant I had to find a way to change my career because

If I Am Not Healthy I Cannot Continue To Support My Family

I have struggled with being overweight for most of my life, suffered from depression and supported many family members with either chronic conditions or mental health problems while also working.

I learned another important lesson 10 years ago. When my physical or mental health deteriorated it affected everyone else around me, making me feel even worse.

It took being virtually catatonic in bed for 3 months with little or no interest in my surroundings to make me realise that if I did not concentrate on my own mental health and wellbeing I would only get worse.  I’d been so busy helping everyone else that eventually I was no help to anybody.

At that point I started on a journey to find out what I needed to maintain a happy healthy life.

The two things that I found and have returned to consistently over the years are an obsession with Nutrition and practicing Qigong.

This is why I decided to retrain as a Naturopathic Health Coach and a Qigong Instructor as I feel that the two practices combine to create the perfect balance for physical, mental and emotional health
